So here we are......the first day before our trip and I, myself, am now officially unemployed.....for the time being that is. It actually feels really great! Not necessarily the unemployed part - that was met with much mixed emotion - but more so the start of this new chapter in our lives. Many of you know that Jason and I have an extreme (understatement) passion for travel - we did an 8-week trip through Southeast Asia and Australia a few years ago and have been itching to do it again ever since. Somehow, those weekend, one and two-week vacations are never quite fulfilling enough! So tomorrow night Jason and I will depart for our 9-week adventure through Europe. When we return, I plan to dive right in to my newly created travel and event business, dunia. So I guess you could say that this trip to Europe is 50% leisure and 50% research & development. Nervous? Yes. Anxious? Definitely. Excited? Absolutely!
